Terms & Conditions

Pryda · Last updated September 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Pryda app and alert service, operated by SafeSide (sole proprietor), the registered messaging brand for this program.

What Pryda is — and is not

Pryda sends your location and an alert to emergency contacts you choose. It is a supplement to, not a replacement for, emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Pryda cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered or that any contact will respond.

Your responsibilities

SMS terms

By ticking the optional SMS box on the Pryda opt-in form, a contact agrees to receive safety notifications by SMS from SafeSide (sent as Pryda). Message frequency varies; typical use is a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Phone call terms

By ticking the optional "phone me" box on the opt-in form, a contact agrees to receive automated safety-alert phone calls from SafeSide (as Pryda) at the number provided. Calls are placed only when a Pryda user who listed that contact triggers an alert. Standard call charges from the contact's carrier may apply. Consent can be withdrawn at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and limitations

Pryda depends on your phone, its network connection, GPS, and third-party carriers and providers, any of which may fail. Pryda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pryda and its operator are not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it is used.
